Hello everybody,
this is my first post here. I love these forums and I'm definitely buying my InterRail ticket via railcc [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] . But until then there's a long way. At one point of our trip we want to go from Paris to Barcelona. Also we know about Le petit traine jaune so we would like that too.
I wanted to ask about this https://rail.cc/en/train/paris-to-barcelona connection. As I understand we would have to take off at Perpignan. Am I right?
Anyhow, my main question is this: this is a TGV train and as I understand it needs reservations. But here it says Train tickets: reservation fee included in ticket fare So is there a reservation fee? And what would be the price?

Hi.
You have to switch from the standard ticket information to the Interrail information:
https://rail.cc/en/interrail/paris-to-barcelona
Information and details about the TGV: https://rail.cc/en-type-country/train-%C3%A0-grande-vitesse/sncf-tgv/42
More information in the railcc blog: https://rail.cc/blog/little-yellow-train-video/
I personally recommend a French night train to southern France and then by the Little Yellow Train to Barcelona (see blog).
Peter :)

Thank you very much Peter for your help. One more question about the night train to south Frane. What would we be the cost of it?
Thank you

6€ reclining seat
20€ couchette
It may happen that the seats for 6€ are sold and that you are asked to pay 18€ - if that is the case, either take a couchette or have a look at the forum for the abo forfait option...
