I stumbled upon this awesome forum when i was researching on Ljubljana to Bratislava connection and found some very useful information here!
My friends and i are going from Krakow to Frankfurt on 23rd October and trying to search for cheapest way with not too long travelling time. I found some flights leaving from Warsaw to Frankfurt, and other than we need to travel to Warsaw first, the price is not pocket-friendly either.
Another option is for us to take train or bus from Krakow to Prague and get on another bus / train to Frankfurt from there. It seems like a very long journey though.
Can anyone please help to suggest some cheaper (and preferably faster) alternative?
Thank you!

Hi.
Long distances take time ... :)
For bus or air travel I can't help you.
If you want to use a train (okay it is currently including a railway-bus / ICBus), you can buy e-tickets here starting from EUR 69 on your travel date: [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux]
Travel time is ~ 13 hours with only one change in Berlin.
Note: if you wait too long, the price will rise.

Thank you Peter! :)

I checked the link that you gave me and saw the bus leaves Krakow in the morning.
I saw there's option that leaves Krakow in the evening / night, so we can travel overnight, but the price is not available.
Does that mean i can't buy it online? Would you know how much roughly is the price and if i can just buy it off the counter on the day?
I'm worried that tickets (specially the promotional fare) will be sold out (though some people say that it's quite common to just buy on the day and tickets will still be available).

Hi.
You can of course buy tickets for an other connection as well.
If you talk about the connection via Warsaw and then by night train to Frankfurt, buy your first ticket via rail.shop/pkpic - and part two from Warsaw to Frankfurt either via DB (you have to call them) or via PKP as well (also have to call them).
