Hello everyone,
I bought an interrail ticket via your website and am now planning the first step of my trip. I want to go from Lille (France) to Amsterdam but I realize it's quite a challenge to find the right place to look for timetables and I am really struggling as I don't want to pay reservation.
So I want to use the regional trains as intercity, ter, etc. and avoid Thalys, Eurostar, and TGV.
My problem is, when I look at the timetable I got, it seems to be missing a lot of information. For example, when I look at Lille, there are only the times for Brussels, London and Paris! And the times for trains going to Brussels are only for TGV and Eurostar! No information about the TER...
No information as well about Lille - Antwerpen which I read is a convenient way to reach Amsterdam without paying reservation.
So it makes me realize that I don't really know where to look to find clear timetables with trains which don't require any reservation to plan my trip from Lille to Amsterdam. I know there must be some slow trains going from Lille to Antwerpen or Brussels, and then some other train going from these cities to Rotterdam or Amsterdam directly. But how to find it?
Thanks so much in advance and keep up the good work! :D

Have a look here: https://rail.cc/en/interrail/paris-to-amsterdam
the connections with a green or an orange box under extra fees should be the ones you're looking for. They all run via Lille and use free local or Intercity trains to get to Amsterdam from there :)
