Hi

I have just reserved night seats from Berlin to Munich. I plan to spend a day n Munich then head off to Budapest.
However, when I tried to reserve seats for the night train this message appears:
Unfortunately there is no online booking possible for the requested connection. This is due to one of the following reasons. Neither an Online-Ticket (for self printing) nor a seat reservation can be offered. The deadline for booking the requested journey has passed. For deliveries inside Germany the deadline is 2 working days. For deliveries into foreign countries the deadline will be up to 8 working days (Mo.-Fr. until 16:00 o'clock).
For alternative connections, please start a new request.

Is this normal?

I looked up an alternative route (Departs Munich at 13:27 RJ 67) and tried to reserve seats for this but I couldn't. Do you think it will be ok without reservations since it's not a night train?

Hi!

Where did you try to make the online reservations?

You can also make the reservations at a station, for instance during your stay in Berlin.

The Railjet day trains do not require a reservation, just hop on the train and take a seat.
