Hi Jenny.
I hope you bought your Deutsche Bahn online ticket via railcc ( [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux] ). Same price and conditions for you, but you support the railcc project.
No worries that you can't find the platform number on your ticket. You will easily find it on the big electronic displays at the station in Paris - very easy. :)
Peter :)

I have never ever seen a ticket WITH platform nr on it. same for-when they were still there, airtickets with gate nrs. You may be confused with the attachment that DB often gives out.
in FR they even do not have those giant wallposters WITH all the trains and platform nrs- they just decide by the day what comes out best. Just like at any airport.

For the DB, they tend to change the platforms sometimes. Some weeks ago, I travelled from Munich to Hamburg, the train was scheduled to leave from platform 15, then they changed it to leave from platform 19, and, 5 minutes, before the train was scheduled to leave, they changed it again, to platform 14, where it finally arrived.

Also a good way to find out, which platform your train is departing from, is to ask one of the staff running around in the station.
