Hi there, I'll be leaving Sarajevo to go to Marseille on the 23rd August. So far the only route I can seem to find is Sarajevo - Zagreb - Venice - Marseille, but this would take at least two days to do. Is there any quicker route?
thanks!

Hi Harry.
Just let me know your order-ID (PNR - beginning with AA) of your rail pass purchase here via the railcc partner link [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] . Then I can give you a detailed answer. As it is not fair to ask for free support at railcc, but to buy the rail pass at an other company.
Check the schedules here - step by step... then you will find your way.

Travel the last part: Venice - Milan - Nice - Marseille

Hi Peter,
sorry, i did not realise as such it was a 'paid' service, i haven't actually bought my rail pass yet as i'm trying to find out whether i'll need to fly or not or whether i can afford to take 2 days out to take the train. I figured i'd have to go via milan and nice, but i wasn't sure whether it was a direct train between venice-marseille or whether i'd have to actually change trains at milan and nice on the way.
Have checked the schedules but they do not suggest whether there's a quicker way than the route i've already scouted...
cheers,
Harry

Hi Harry.
railcc is not a paid service! :)
It is just like that: a lot of people ask here for free support, but bought their tickets somewhere else, at companies not offering (or only with bad) support. That's not fair to buy at a company with bad support, give them the money - but afterwards request free help here on railcc. :)
You have to change several times ... Sarajevo to Zagreb, then change in Ljubljana.
Border crossing to Italy like that: https://rail.cc/blog/travel-lake-bled-train/
Then change in Venice, Milan at the border to Italy/France at Ventimiglia ... then it depends if you use free (with Interrail) local trains or a direct high-speed train...
Peter :)
