Hello all !
I am planning a surprise-travel to my girlfriend We are french and start from paris, then
Rome=>
Igumenista =>
Kotor =>
Zadar =>
Ljubljana =>
Wien =>
Praha =>
Paris
I precise that we have about 20 days haha, but really would need your help as right now I am blocked on this way : Igoumenista to Montenegro !
I checked everythings but it seems there is now way to leave igoumenista after you reach it !
Greece isn't my first choice, but I already booked the ticket for Roma and want to reach Montenegro.. I liked the idea of ferie by night from Italia to greece, but if you have other idea to reach montenegro from Italy it is ok for me ^^
Thanks in advance for your advice !

You can either take the ferry from Ancona (Italy) to Bar (Montenegro), or from Bari to Bar.

Untill you reach zadar-also depending on how long you make your trip, an IR is worthless.
1.you have to pay in FR-you get discount, but as jeune you get state-subsidised discount on SNCF-state run and strike prone, anyway.
2.the direct trains Fr-It cost an awful lot with IR-often the advance PREM are cheaper. or use ID-bus to Torino, also from the French state SNCF.
3.some ferries across Adriatic give discount, but you still pay fuel, porttax and seasonal, but there are others with lower prices too.
4.there is NOTHING to see at Igoumenitsa, its just a dreary and awful port.
5.If you want to go CernaGora=MonteNegro=Black Mountains, then use direct ferry from IT. Unless you want also to see Albania-and have time for it, and its by bus then anyway. Even direct buses to from Igou, or direct ferry from IT. Onward from Tirana to Ulcinj-Bar-Kotor is possible by bus, with lots of changes.
6.along coast in Hrvatska=Croatia there is also no train-choose between bus and boat (not daily-seasonal-jadrolinjia), pay full fare anyway. In HR trains are mostly just a pain, buses are quicker, much more often and easier to find and use.
