So Im going interrailing this September. I currently live in Rochester Kent. Since the interrail ticket does not work in the country of origin my question is simply this. What would be the cheapest way of getting out of the country.
Any answers would be most appreciated.

seems pretty obvious to me that getting a ferry from Dover to Calais would be cheapest, no? Then your pass would be valid from Calais onwards. Or you could always check skyscanner for cheap flights from Gatwick to Paris.
