Hi all!
I am currently Interrailing through Europe and I would like to get from Istanbul to Greece asap. However, the international trains from Greece have been suspended and I am having a hard time finding alternative ways of getting there (private Turkish bus companies are fully booked until thursday).
I was told that there should be a replacing bus service and that my interrail pass should cover it. Has anybody done this trip too on their interrail pass, and if so, how did they do it?
Any help will be greatly appreciated! :)

1. Its the END of the ramadan-THE giant feast overthere and that means that anyone+his donkey and grandmother goes travelling-to visit the other grandma for the holy family.
2. there isNO subsitute bus (why not make it a little more easy and tell from where to where??) for the train toward GR. There IS a substitute bus to replace the part of line toward BULgaria-which also was the same line toward GR when trains ran- due to the giant works to make the train tunnel Evropa-Asya under the Bosfor. So you could take the train toward Sofia and BUS-payable-avtogara right besdie main station- toward GR/Thessaloniki. With the risk this bus is also full for the next days.
3.there are millions of substitute other ways for going TR-GR, but space is limited, as is my time here -and also prerpare of what you are able to/prepared to pay extra in unavoidable cost for bus/ferry etc.

Hi.
If you like, give me your order-ID (PNR beginning wit AA) of your Interrail pass purchase at railcc - then I can set you premium for a more detailed answer. :)
As it is not fair to buy somewhere else and ask for free support here - if you bought somewhere else, ask there for support.
The connections nltrainer talks about are all here: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route
Have a nice trip, Peter :)
