Hi all,

My name is Tom and I've travelled all around the world on my own, but its my first interrail starting Weds! :o
I have my route planned, my reservations for trains and my accomodation paid and booked, I guess I'm worried about the small things...

1) Passport wise what do i do?
2) Does anyone have any amazing tips to help me in any way?
3) Going to the non-EU countries like Hungary and Croatia, I have the relevent currency but can I use Euros too?

I know its the last minute things but I'm starting to panic haha!

Any help from you wonderful people would be amazing and anyone on the way to meet to!

Thanks!

Tom :)

Hi Tom!

1) You need a valid travel document to travel within the EU. This means you need a passport or an ID card if the UK issues this kind of document.
2) Have a look at the forum, the website and the blog. If you have bought your IR ticket at railcc, just ask away.
3) Croatia and Hungary are in the EU. In touristy areas € are accepted but in my opinion it is better to get local currency.

Have a nice trip! :)
